Global Times Online(Huanqiu.com) will launch the 2026 "Chinese Brands Going Global · Worldwide Tour" (Vietnam Stop) in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi from June 28 to July 1, amid the in-depth advancement of the Belt and Road Initiative and ASEAN regional integration. Centered on "Cross-Border Healthcare and Industrial Synergy,” the event aims to build an efficient China-Vietnam industrial cooperation platform, empowering Chinese brands to take root in Vietnam and expand across ASEAN markets.
As one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing economies, Vietnam is witnessing booming development in its healthcare sector. Targeting key fields including oncology, cardiovascular treatment, general practice management, cross-border diagnosis and treatment, medical insurance and health management, the event will connect local governmental, corporate and medical resources. It will feature thematic forums, business tours and field visits to display the innovative strength of Chinese healthcare brands and tap into the potential for bilateral industrial cooperation.
Hosted by Global Times Online, the event is co-organized by Ping An Health Insurance, PKU Healthcare Group and Peking University International Hospital, jointly co-organized by the China Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Branch, with support from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
Ping An Health Insurance, one of China's first professional health insurers, will bring its healthcare expertise to Vietnam, partnering with local insurers, hospitals, and business associations to deliver professional insurance and medical services.
Among China’s first pilot hospitals for international medical services, Peking University International Hospital combines Peking University's century-old medical heritage with Ping An Group's healthcare ecosystem. It has built a cross-border medical hub serving Belt and Road countries, covering multidisciplinary remote consultations, cross-border medical referrals, international insurance billing, and physician academic exchanges. In Vietnam, the hospital will work with local government, medical, and business partners to develop cross-border medical service standards tailored to the ASEAN market. It aims to build a closed-loop system integrating bilateral medical services, rehabilitation and insurance connectivity between China and Vietnam, laying a solid foundation for deeper bilateral health industry cooperation.
Focusing on brand display, resource matching, project implementation and global communication, the event will leverage Global Times Online’s multilingual, multi-platform media network to amplify the international influence of Chinese brands. Having been successfully held in global cities ranging from Milan to São Paulo, the "Chinese Brands Going Global · Worldwide Tour" remains steadfast in its founding mission of facilitating Chinese brands’ global expansion, opening a new chapter for their in-depth layout in Southeast Asia.
