Book Launching Ceremony of “Fuxing Wenku” Kicks off in Chengdu

<article><section data-type="rtext">On the morning of Nov. 25, 2022, the launching ceremony of Revitalization Library volume I, II&III kicks off in Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province. Chinese President Xi Jinping who pays high attention to the compiling and publishing work of Revitalization Library wrote the preface for the book series. Keeping a foothold in the new start of the century-old party history as well as focusing on creating the new situation of the development of national rejuvenation, the preface profoundly points out that the history is the best textbook, that everything goes forward and that we should not forget the path we have taken. No matter how far we have taken and how glorious the future will be, we should always remember the way we have walked. <img data-alt="" src="//img.huanqiucdn.cn/dp/api/files/imageDir/06293d685792461202631b396ee35b8bu5.jpg?imageView2/2/w/1260" />The publishing of Revitalization Library is a vital event for ideological, propaganda and cultural fronts, as well as for the theoretical and academic circles. “At the time of our Party leading the people on a new journey to build a comprehensive socialist modern state, the publication of this canonical work is of great importance for us to strengthen our historical confidence, grasp the general trend of the times, follow the Chinese path and advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese-style modernization,” as President Xi noted. Zhou Xuanlong, the executive director and secretary of Party committee of Zhonghua Book Company, introduced the publication of this series through a video presentation at the launching ceremony. As the first-hand historical documents in philosophy and social sciences, Revitalization Library is an important study material of school’s ideological and political lessons, and also a vital textbook for learning “Four Histories” in Party schools, administrative colleges and cadre training institutes. Volume IV concentrates on a selection of important documents from 1978-2012, documenting the great revolution of reform and opening up carried out by the Communist Party of China unitedly leading the people of all nationalities, breaking down ideological and institutional barriers that hinder the development of the country and the nation, and creating, upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics. Volume V focuses on the important documents on the founding of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core in the practice of governance since the 18th Party Congress in 2012, which ushered in a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and ushered in the great leap of the Chinese nation from standing up, getting rich to becoming strong.
